Just to clarify, the command that moves a file into a new folder is
called "New folder with selection" and can be executed either from the
Finder file menu or with command-control-n.
VO-space will launch dock items, not with command-o or command-down
arrow.

Cmd-down should also work, like opening a folder. I mention it because it might
be easier to quickly locate than the o key.

The way I open apps is to use command o after selecting the app.

Hello listers,
When I press VO-spacebar to open an application in the finder, I hear
