I am not sure if there is a way to convert it to an audio file without actually
adding some video to it.
You may be able to download some free video editing software from the
internet but I am not really sure.

The buttons are dimmed because it's apparently an audio file.
So, you cannot upload audio files onto YouTube.
How can I convert it into a video file for free?
I don't have iMovie on my Mac and can't purchase it right now because I don't

I am not sure why the options would be dimmed but I have tried many
times to upload quicktime videos and every time I got an alert saying that
there were sync issue with the audio and video and the upload failed every time.
I use iMovie for everything now and the upload
I thought that if you have a QT video file saved on your hard drive you
could just go to Youtube and upload it there.
