do I uninstall an application on the mac. i have looked through the menus, and

from the applications folder.
these files left behind can be as large as 70mb.

Generally you just go to the apps folder, find the app you don't want
and throw it in the trash (command-delete). There could be preferences
files still hanging around but those are tiny and intert so most folks
don't worry much about them.
