Hi Theresa. I've experienced this as well and I don't think there's a way to
get rid of it. I know in Windows there is but not on the Mac. Maybe if there's
a Utorrent support page write them about it.

I find that no matter how I set this option in preferences, I can't get the
"check for default torrent application" out of my main window. I've used mouse
keys and trackpad, and it doesn't budge. Anyone else succeed? It functions fine
with this showing, but it's a little annoying.
