Kawal, it’s bots indexing your messages which are being scraped off google and
other various sites. There are some protections in place but many don’t work
that well. Part of the territory unfortunately. I’d like to see draw and

Hi there,
Speaking for myself, I can share that those fishing e-mails are likely not
due to your being a member here, but due to icloud.
Hackings in general are producing allot of these. I get them asking about
my apple id, and I am not that kind of apple user.
Simply follow practical wisdom.

Nah, sadly not. On iOS, you’re just directed to instructions for turning it on
under iOS. This is why I’m strongly considering going back to hosting my own
email at home. Just can’t get satisfaction these days.

You’ll have to do it server-side, using whatever method your provider gives you.
But guys, look—more effort has been expended talking about these posts than on
the posts themselves. And anyone trying to follow the threads he’s hijacked is
inconvenienced by it.
Don’t feed the trolls. I know it

Hi,
While I agree that ignoring poor behaviour does not fuel the fire, this is
totally beyond the ignoring stage. I’m not going to threaten to leave the list
or anything similar, but, no-one should have to read the profanity and
insulting tone present in Mario’s posts today.

Hello:
I might be stating the obvious ... it sounds like things have gotten a little
out of hand. No sides being taken just a statement of the situation.
If anyone agrees with that analysis it would seem the question on the table
would be just what is going to be done going forward. If anyone

Hi.
If you like strictness, you should subscribe to the other Mac list and I can
tell you that there are so many guide lines, you can't not talk about anything
unless its Mac related.
I quit that list and am glad for this list and the relaxed aproach it has as it

Hi,

I bought my first Mac in February and joined the list because I wanted input
