Thunderbolt connections make it possible to connect thunderbolt devices to your
iMac. I connect thunderbolt external drives using them. Also, yes, there are
as far as I know thunderbolt to usb convertors you can use.

On my iMac there are about four regular usb slots and some thunderbolt slots.
What are these thunderbolt slots used for? Can you get an adapter to turn them
in to usb slots?
