Yeah, you'd have to use grep to look inside files so it saves an extra command. UNIX find will use the slocate and whatis databases as well for faster searches. I don't know how those compare with other spotlight indexes. It seems like a way to collect data more than help me find

Hi, The VO-m three times is no longer available as a Spotlight shortcut. The cmd-space is a built-in function of the Mac so you shouldn't need to create it yourself. Not entirely sure why yours is not working but you could just use cmd-f (Find) when in the Finder which accesses the
