Some help with Skype.

Hi list. I am trying to help a friend setup Skype on his Mac, and I am having a strange problem. We have a Skype call in progress, he finds the call at the table on the left, but the html content and the edit text among other things isn't shoin up. What am I doing wrong? Any help? Nektarios.
