for "startup or wake", and the second is unlabelled. If you check the second
box and vo-right, you will find a popup button which is set to sleep. If you
bring up the popup menu, however, "shut down" is one
This might be done in the ""schedule events," section of Preferences?

bottom of the window (close to the lock buttons), you will find a button called
"Schedule…" which, when clicked, opens a dialog allowing one to set a time for
the Mac to sleep or shut down and start up automa
Hi,
I don't believe such a feature exists on the Mac. At least, not built in. In
system preferences/energy saver, under schedule, all you can do is set
start/wake up times, and sleep times.

Is there some way you can tell a Mac to shut down at a particular time, and
have it stick to that time each day If so, how do you program it in? Have a
friend who needs this and isn't sure how to do it.
