guys,
the thing is, there's ISRC codes which are embedded into every commercially
released audio file, CD or download. This is how those of us who live on
our royalties get paid. these ISRC codes get read by every dreaming
service and all that. but when you strip those out, we're screwed. So
John and Kevin,
Yes, a Google search did not bring up any specific app. Lots of discussion on
CDDB. Seems like an automated app or program, reading a list of audio files,
and running a virtual comparison using a Shazzam process could be a real
opportunity.

I’m not Kevin, but I agree with him. The only thing I can think of is having
to do it one track at a time with Shazam or a similar application and do it the
old fashion way. Maybe, there is a third party app that can do it more
efficiently, so I would recommend consulting the Oracle or, bette
Best I can think of is listening to them with Shizam, however it’s spelled.
Otherwise, I haven’t a clue.

And good to see you on another list. Perhaps you might have a suggestion to a
problem I have with a folder full of untitled songs from a CD. A friend gave me
these CDs but there was no metadata for them, so the files are all Track01,
Track02, etc.
Do you, or someone on this list, know of a
Dave, great to see you again. I think the standing assumption is that VO
remains depressed during the entire experience or that the VO keys are locked
with semicolon.

Leo,
I found a mistake in your instructions. When you want to add another to the
selection, it’s VO+Command+Return. Not simply Command+Return.

Okay. I'm an even bigger idiot. I now see and understand Leo's message
and all works perfectly now. I approached this thread from the wrong
direction. Long story.

Hi,
What you read on Apple Vids was the original method. Manipulating cursor
tracking is no longer necessary. Leo's instructions are spot on. I'll
emphasize though that you need to use VO navigation, not arrow navigation,
after selecting the first item otherwise the selection will be lost.
Hi Kevin, this is the way I do it,
First of all, interact with the list of items in finder.
Go to the first item you want to select, press vo plus command plus return.
keep pushing vo, and arrow up and down to go to the next items you want
to select, everytime you want to add a new item to th
Sorry for this dumb question. I looked it up in Apple Vis and I got something
like:
Select your first file and then turn cursor tracking off with VO Shift F3
VO down arrow to the next track you want and select it with VO Command SPACE.
This doesn’t work because it brings up a VO Window with t
