To start with, just so we are all clear, VoiceOver sound can be output to the same device as the system or can be controlled independently of the system. The control is under the Sounds pane of VoiceOver Utility. I prefer to have mine controlled independently. Just because I want music or movies

I am fairly confident that there is no AppleScript terminology to change the output destination. The output word is used in VoiceOver terminology to output a string to they synthesizer. You might be able to use one of the sound manipulation programs like AirFoil or Audio HiJack to change the out
