Dear Mauricio, I've just found an old post in my Mail application that has an attachment and I was able to save it via the file/save attachments menu without a problem. I'm on El Capitan, macbook pro 2014. Sorry yo are having problems with this. I don't know what to suggest. Best wishes And

Hi All, Since the upgrade to El Capitan, a friend has been unable to save attachments using the Save Attachments option in the File menu. When attempting to save attachments using this method, it appears that all is as it should be until the Save button is pressed at which time a dialog appear
