Yes, I've tried the readability plug-in and also the earlier
bookmarklet. The older bookmarklet is faster and works better than
the plug-in, in my opinion, and can be used more easily on iOS
devices. This is basically another service like Safari Reader that
originally developed from M

Safari reads the article out to you while attempting to miss out a lot of the
clutter such as those facebook links. I have found command shift r an excellent
way of reading many articles online which normally I would have to struggle
with because of all those "like this on facebook" links
