Donna's method should work as well. Although, if in iTunes Prefs, in the
General pane, under the "When a CD is inserted" pop-up menu area, you select
Import and Eject, it should just automatically import it for you. Also check
that your Import Settings, in the General pane, are set to AAC

This tripped me up at first too. You have to interact with the header that
displays the CD name. Once you do that you’ll see a bunch of different buttons,
one of which is import. Click that, and the CD will import. I’m not at my Mac
