I think you might be right, Chris. They've designed it to look like a virtual
desktop. It's meant to look like what your computer's desktop would look like
at work. So maybe that would make it a little more intuative for some people as
they can interact with it as they would their desktop. But I
ks good. I note their demo was using JAWS. I've noticed
that JAWS does tend to work a bit better with rich text editors for me. I'd be
worried that CKEditor might work well with JAWS, but not VoiceOver. I'm keen to
try and encourage people to make their websites accessible for bot

NOt sure I have any good suggestions for rich text editors but Ajax
shouldn't be an issue. Ajax is just a technique to fetch a blob of HTML
and stuff it into a container on a page (or replace what was in the
container). The usual technique is to then move browser focus to that
container s
for simple formatting
such as bold and italics, but VoiceOver doesn't announce whether they have
worked or not.

I use an interface with my university called eCollege. Last quarter their text
edit area for making posts was accessible enough. This quarter, however, it
doesn't work at all. VoiceOver calls it a "Rich text editor with
RadeEntryText," and I'm not sure what that means. Searching
