The HD is just like any other item on the Desktop and can be renamed by
navigating to it, pressing return which will make it editable, then retyping
Macintosh HD as the name for the volume. This could be accidentally done as
well if you have the HD selected then press the return k
Try hitting enter on the folder and typing in the new name. I dunno if that
will work but god luck.

title/label. I am not certain what caused this to happen, which makes it more
complex to correct. Does anyone have any ideas what I may have done and/or
what steps should be taken to correct the problem?
