Jonathan,
Your method works, I used to do it that way as well before I figured this one
out. If you think about it, it's logical. There's quite a number of
Contextual menu items available, VO just doesn't always properly access them
all. Haven't quite figured out why this is so, but it is.
Tim,
That is one I have never seen described before, thanks! I have resorted to
opening the Library folder in either home, root or /System and then looking
at the Preference Pane Folder within and removing from there, which is
probably not nearly as elegant.

Hi,
1. Go to System Preferences.
2. Navigate to the preference you'd like to remove.
3. Press VO-cmd-f5 to make sure the mouse is routed to the VO Cursor.
4. Hold down your ctrl key and click the physical mouse or trackpad.
This should bring up the Contextual menu and "Remove Preference Pane"
If you have either Clean My Mac or App Delete you might be able to
clear this one out.

Hi all,
in system preferences I have an App called Printopia. I am unable to find a way
to remove it from system preferences. It is not in the Apps folder. Interesting
when I log in from my admin account I can not see the App. Can anybody help me
remove this App?
Thanks as always for any help.

Depending on the app, deleting the .app file from the Applications folder will
erase the app and all its data. This is particularly true of apps that come as
.app files, as opposed to .pkg files. Normally, if more than just deleting has
to be done, you will have gotten an uninstaller file along

Just delete it from the apps folder. Usually, that’s all that you need to do.
