Hi Anne, Yeah, the vast majority of malware targets the Windows environment, and the security protocols within the MacOS are solid, so unless you visit questionable sites, click on items without reading or being cautious, or enter your Admin PW without knowing why, you normally won't infect you

Like you, Tim, I don’t bother with any antivirus stuff. I haven’t had any problems in the twenty or more years I’ve been a Mac user. If receiving files from a PC and then sending them on to another PC, I scan them with ClamXAV so as not to transmit any viruses to someone else. Cheers, Anne >
