inaccessibility, that would make for a real good show down! Heather

THanks Buddy for sharing this info. I guess I won't expect more than possible
access to flash, which I am hoping will be replaced by html 5. THis means one
less thing I would need to install. :)

the major problems are:
1. that doesn't help us now
2. I still can't use voiceover with any flash, regardless of version.
at this point, its easier to block flash than not.

the only way to get adobe's attention is to hit them in the wallet, HARD.
if all 15 million visually impaired in the US were to join in on a class action

Another case in point. The navy which is covered by Section 508 uses
flash to make all of its mandatory training. Same problem you experience

Case in point, if anyone has Facebook and plays Legacy of a Thousand Suns, the
story is text based, but they use flash to add music and sound effects and also
graphics. This is why I find it annoying because the story is actually quite
good, I just can't seem to play it on either Mac or windows.
Don't count on it. Adobe Reader X (X for 10) just came out recently for
Windows, and it was done with Adobe Air. Guess what? It's completely
inaccessible.

Benjamin,
Well thanks for sharing and what a positive correction. So, perhaps this means
that Adobe will finally get their thumb out and address their other products?
One can only hope, but what will still be interesting is the affect html 5 will
have on flash. EIther way, maybe Adobe finally i

I'm glad that at some point Flash may become a thing of the past, but I suspect
it will be several years before it happens. In particular with respect to
higher education. I certainly complained to the university I attended and made
zero progress. The solution was to simply require the instructo
