between having 2gb and now 8gb is simply amazing! I am now, finally, able to
run a vm for windows so I don't need Bootcamp anymore. The mouse is doing odd

What model identifier is your Mini? If you do "About this Mac" from the
Apple menu then "More Info..." and then "System Report" you should find
all kinds of good info in the second pane to the right of the vertical
splitter. Hard to say exactly what will work without details.
