Thanks so much. I click that link whenever I see it; I'm not seeing it now. I
will definitely keep that in mind though.
Thanks again,

Hi, Randy:
I think what you were dealing with is something called Google instant. If I
understand correctly, this causes webpages to change dynamically. You should
find a link on the screen that says something like screen reader users click
here. That will turn off Google instant and you shou
thank you all for your suggestions, they have all been helpful. I will
definitely file a bug report, as like I've said, I feel that navigating between
pages is a fairly basic function and one which VO should be able to handle with
no issues.
Thanks again,
Randy

Hi,
I have that happen all the time. If it happens, I stop interacting with the
html area and interact with it again. Also, I open a search results link in a
new tab with command-enter. Then, when I'm done I just close the tab with
command-w and I'm back in the Google search page. When I do
Oh, I see. It happens to me, but only an average of once or twice a week.
You're saying it happens all the time? I'd call Apple's accessibility phone
number and see what they have to say, as well as filing a bug at

it is time consuming because I do literally hundreds to thousands of searches
daily as part of my consulting business, and even adding 2 seconds to every
search adds literally hours of time to what I am trying to accomplish. It is
frustrating because in my opinion, these sort of basic issues wi
that's really weird.
Hmmm, sorry, it worked for me, i noticed i was having the issue as well.

I have had that happen as well. I just toggle vo off and back on and it works.
I also use cmd-left bracket to go back a page, which always works for me
despite whatever oddities vo has decided to exhibit. Why would toggling vo be
time-consuming if your machine is brand new?

Hi there,
That's the thing, the page is seemingly not coming up at all. if i wouldn't
reload voiceover it continually tells me that I am still on the google search
page when I'm in fact on the page that I meant to go to. This is a brand new
issue for me, as pages have always loaded fine from
to make the webpage read properly i usually stop interacting with the HTML area.
Then to go back a page, i usecommand+{.
Hope that helps.
