Hi Deedra, The purpose of these two programs is to remap the caps lock to an insert key in your vm. As I recall, the correct code is 110 (not 50). Of course, you need to disable the caps lock behavior in mac keyboard preferences. You also don’t need to do any key mappings in vmware preference

Ok so seil and karabiner are installed. I changed the capslock keycode to 50 since i want it to be the accent key. I have the capslock mapped to the accent key in the vm. I’m running in circles here people, I have no way still to get the capslock to pass to the vm wtf is going on here? you guys
