try checking the box again. this happened to me with notes, I
unchecked and rechecked, works fine now.

I've actually unchecked the address book checkbox and it does seem to work.
Alas, it is a shame that i can't create new addresses to synch with my
iphone as i'm doing a full switch to mac and all my contacts have to
be painstakingly tapped on the phone instead of on the address book
app.
I was just having that problem too. Because I am new to the mac I
don't relaly have any real contacts saved in my mac. I say that
because I had some in there to test synchronizing. After I took those
out and synchronize it has not given me that message and problem. I
have not tried again tryin
