Skype on iOS has taken a small hit in accessibility. New incoming messages
aren't automatically announced, which even AIM does, surprisingly. But The UI
changes are very good. There just isn't really a way to know when messages come
in unless you switch away from the app and wait for the notific
client that I was able to do with

did anyone figure out the purpose of the home button within the skype app? I

I have the newest Skype running on an iPad 2 under IOS 7.1.1. I find it
simple, easy to use and a lot less cluttered than the last few versions. I can
even use the keypad now and don't seem to have any problems with voicemail not
