Under settings > mail, contacts, calendars > select your account > select your
email address > go to the password section and type yours in, it should now
save

When you set up your email, you should only have to put in password for A T & T
email one time when you set it up. You should not be asked to put in your
password while you are on a call. Have you tried to restart your phone and see
