I know. I just had to put my $.02 in, too. :) Tim does make a good point about
AI, though. If I were feeling wealthy, I'd love to just buy an SE and use it
alongside my 11, just to compare the experiences. But since I'm not feeling
wealthy, that's not going to happen. lol

Thanks for this, Tim and Gave. I have no hands-on experience with SE, and it's
been a long time since I've used a 7, so this comparison is helpful.

Hi Tim,
You make a great point regarding other use for the camera as a blind user. I
will just say that the times that I have used seeing AI as well as other
scanning apps I have gotten a faster and more accurate result than I did on my
7.

Just got one for my wife. Other than the specs on the camera, it is an
improved version of the iPhone 8.
It is a very solid device.

Hi,
I’ll just chime in with one comment regarding cameras on iPhones as they relate
to blind users. With the onset of AI as part of the iPhone experience, cameras
may not be necessary for taking pictures per se for blind people, but the
clarity and accuracy of the lens system, along with proce
Hello Donna and others,
Just wanted to let everyone know that Wallmart is selling the SE 2020
with 128 for $250, and with 256 for $350. The sale ends on June 17 and
is for Verizon and ATT customers. My wife purchased the 128 model on

OK, but a better price is a good thing. And personally, I don’t care about the
camera. For a sighted user who takes a lot of pictures, yes, that would be a
downgrade, but not sure I would consider it a downgrade for a blind user. I
have to say, I’m giving the SE some serious consideration.

Hi all,
I moved from a 7 to the new SE. At least to this point it has been a very
positive experience for me. Since I had the 7 and not the plus I was even able
to keep my same phone case. :) I especially like the fact that my bluetooth now
works and I can connect new devices. I would say that
Simon, it's really a downgrade. It's a budget model compared to the
8/8+. On that basis, was it a positive change for you?

Have you been cleaning your phone with anything in particular lately,
especially since this whole virus thing? As I think some alcohol based cleaning
products can be quite damaging to the phone.

My phone has a cover yes but it does not cover any part of the home

different strategies.

I’m a little surprised that your Touch ID no longer works reliably. I too have
an 8+ and haven’t had any problems with it Have you got a cover on your phone
that maybe obscuring the finger print sensor? Have you tried resetting your
finger prints?
