It should be on already because it's the default. Otherwise, open Music's
Settings window and choose the General button if that tab is not yet selected.
In that dialog you have your CD handling parameters, make sure it's to taste.
You may also wish to press the Import Settings button on the File

Indeed that tends to mean that for whatever reason the CD content is not
being seen.
If you have a clean microfiber cloth, give the disc a gentle rub, even a
fingerprint can keep one from being read correctly.
