Alex, no, you're right. i have never heard of VO-shift-M to get the slit of
suggestions. I heard to turn off the Quicknav, then arrow through the list of
suggestions the escape to leave the list.

I find that when on a misspelled word pressing vo shift m brings up a menu of
suggestions. Errow down to the one you want and press enter to accept it. Not
sure yet how to ignor an autocorrect suggestion and keep the original word.
