i got confused by the keys that are in different places. so sorry,
it's working alt tap is ok
but before starting windows on vmware, i need to change the ram that
my windows is using. i hit command comma, but i can't find anyting
related to ram memory.

Remy, you are not pressing alt tab, you are evidently pressing command tab. You
have to determine which of your keys is actually the alt key in windows. This
will depend on how you have set up your VM. In my case the option key serves as
the alt key in windows, And the command key serves as the

Suggest you open VMware settings for your Windows VM and explore.
VNware is set up with defaults which of course you can change. The
defaults are just a starting point.

Problem I had was I could not see where to get back to installing
Windows after changing defaults, namely, disk size. So took the defaults
and its all done. I may be ok with the default disk size, will see.
