Yes, some applications are in your dock by default though they can also be
removed. Any application you open is in the dock until you close it unless you
put it in the dock or use the menu option to keep it in the dock. I use the
dock a lot so I try to keep applictions I use a lot in the dock an
Cheryl, you have got it. I did not know that Terminal was running. Don't know
how or when it was loaded, but it is now gone. I don't know what to do with
Terminal so I must have clicked on the wrong App at sometime.
Thanks to everybody.

If I did it would have been an accident. I thought it must have always been
there. I don't use the dock much as I mostly use Spotlight to run things.

in the dock. The way apps usually work is that they go into the dock when you
open them and leave the dock when you quit them. But if you either add the

You should be able to remove Terminal from the Dock. Navigate to it in the
Dock and press, control-option-shift-m. VO up arrow to, options, and VO-right
arrow. The first item should be, Remove. VO-space on that.

No Problem. Try these steps:
1. Go to the dock and locate the app you want to remove.
2. Type Shift-VO-M.
3. Down Arrow once to the Options sub-menu.
4. Right Arrow to open the sub-menu
5. You will be on the "Remove from Dock" option so select it with VO-Spacebar.
Hope this helps.
