That does make sense and the only reason I ask is I noticed that whether
bluetooth is on or not, you can connect via USB. So, it is possible to have
either option available, but it would be nice if there was an external switch
to turn bluetooth on/off. Of course you can't have everything. :)

Not sure if it turns off the bluetooth radio or not. I'd assume it would though
because human wares battery life tests show a huge difference between bluetooth
and USB.

Matt,
Thanks, I did not see this in the documentation, which means I simply missed
that section somehow. So, it worked beautifully. Ok, first attempt failed and

BrailleNote as I stated in my previous message. Do not pair through the VO
utility menu. FOr some reason it doesn't work. Pair it normally, then put it in

Hi,
I had the same problem with the BrailleNote Mpower. Is the Braillient just a
display or is it a notetaker as well? I have instructions that refer to the
BrailleNote paired with the Macbook. If you'd like I can send them to you
offlist, since I already posted them here. I don't want to doubl
Hi all.
I tried baum supervario 40 with bluetooth and the mac says that the driver
can't be loaded. I think supervario 40 is the same as brailleant 40 but baum
has their own firmware in it. Also supervario works fine on usb. Maybe thats my
device having problems so i'm going to try another one w
I've paired it with the mac and it works fine. You have to pair it through the
VO utility and if the key doesn't work I tried some of the common keys
suggested in the VO help you can get by clicking on the help button in the
pairing window.
