What worked twice in a row was moving the mouse focus to the app and left

I didn’t see a conclusive answer to this so I thought I’d chime in.
The only way I’ve found so far, to get to the app info on the Mac App Store is
to first interact with the app that you’re looking at and then use VO shift

off some of the cursor tracking in order to view all the details about an App.
