I don’t believe that what you’re asking for is possible in Apple Mail. The
default folders are listed first in the MailBox list, each expandable to see
there contents then they’re followed by the user created folders of each
account. So, for example, you could see the following in the Mai

I haven't tried it, but can you add individual inboxes to Favorites? Go to the
Mailboxes table, down arrow to Inbox, and hit right arrow. Down arrow to the
account you're interested in, and try to add it to the Favorites Bar.

You can move the specific InBoxes you wish quick access to into the Favourites
bar. The beauty of this is that the order of things within the Favourites bar
corresponds to keyboard shortcuts. That is, the first mailbox in the
Favourites bar can be accessed with the keyboard shortcut cmd-1
As far as I know, the only way to do this is for you to go to the mailboxes
table, and select the particular mailbox that way.
