I would also check how much free memory you have available. UNIX systems in
general like to have at least as much free disk space as memory on the system.
I don't know about iPhone kernels but I would expect that this rule is probably
worthwhile to maintain on these systems too.

I’ve had the double synth effect on my 6S running one of the earlier beta 10.2
versions and have heard some breaking up of the speech since then but not the
double effect or changing to the compact voice. I’m using the US Siri male
voice for VO.
It seems to happen when I do have a number of ap
This 6 is a few generations out now so likely under powered. That’s a guess
anyway. On the 6S and 7+ things seem pretty stable, especially the 7+. Then

I would hope so.:)

Speaking only for myself, of course, I have an iPhone 6, using the latest iOS,
with the Australian male voice by default, but this has happened with Alex as
well. Not compressed, and with or without apps in the background.

Hi, what voice are you using and are you using the compact or full uncompressed
voice? I have not experienced this but I’m running the 7+ with the latest
processor so it may be an issue of horse power. Do you have a lot of apps
running in the background?
Thanks
