Just one more thing to this: don't you have to route your mouse to VO
in order to perform the physical mouse click with vo+shift+space
accurately? That is of course if you don't have your cursors tracking
each other.

Well, vo+shift+m is the equivalent of a right mouse click wherever your vo
cursor is.
vo+shift+space! is the same as a physical mouse click where the voice over
cursor is at.

Just press VO+space on the link to the file you need to download, and
the downloads window in Safari will open with your file downloading.
