As a caveat, it should be noted that if the flash drive does not appear on the
desktop, going to preferences with command,, and checking to make sure that
external devices is checked. That way, it will show up on the desktop.

I don't believe you can copy more than one at a t ime, unless they're in a
folder. The other thing to keep in mind is you may need to interact in order
to paste. VO should be telling you both when it copies, and when it is
pasting, it should say, "paste, copying from ..."

The mac does not put up an alert, but it should show on your desktop, go in to
the finder preferences and see what is configured to show on the desktop, I
think there's an option for external drives, make sure that is checked.

I did check that external disks were checked in Finder preferences to show on
the desktop, but the only untitled folder there is not the disk. I can't find
anything to activate the disk. Is there something else I can try -- is it

When in your finder, press command comma for finder preferences. Make sure
general is selected in the toolbar and then check external disks to be shown on
the desktop.

Hi Christine,
