The first time i had Attention turned on, i could not for my life open the
phone. Turned out i had the phone too close to my face, when i turned the
feature off, i still couldn’t open the phone until i held it farther from my
face and then it worked fine, so i turned on attention again to see if
I turned mine off and have no problems unless it's bright sunlight.

I turned Attention to off because if I have trouble focusing on exactly the
area on the screen where its looking to scan it makes it easier to unlock if
Attention is not on.

Hi.
If you set up Face ID first without tension, as voice over won't let you put it
on first, once Face ID is set, you can turn Tention on providing that it can
see the eyes. That is how I use mine.
