This behaviour is present in other apps too. For instance, in itunes, after
I've done a search for an item in the itunes store, I might get the same
behaviour. I then have to command=tab away from itunes and back in to get the
page back.

I’m seeing this too. I actually forgot about that issue until you mentioned it.
A way to work around it is to press Command 4 I think it is to pull up Updates.
If you look in the Store Menu I think it is, all these shortcuts are listed,
and using them pulls everything up in the area where yo
Forgot about Cmd Tab. The other thinbg that happens is when I select
Updates and stop interacting with the toolbar and interact with html
content, it seems not to work correctly there. Maybe something to do
with how El Capitan handles interacting?

I’m seeing this too, or something similar.But, when I command Tab out of the
App Store, and back in again, it reads and everything shows up. But, when I
just open the App Store, and try to read anything using standard VoiceOver
commands, it just says, “App Store has no windows.”
