Yes. Gmail really only keeps one copy of a message and you just put multiple
labels on that message. So, if it is gone from the All Mail, it will be gone
from everywhere else.

Tim,
Appears to work. So of course any messages I stored in folders will also be
gone, but these go back to January 2021. Thanks for the help.

After deleting them from the All Mail folder, navigate to the Trash folder in
your Mailboxes sidebar. Delete them from there as well. Let me know if they
