Hello,
You can organise messages by thread in Apple Mail. The options are in
the View menu.

Randi, Your Mail program on your Mac has an alert sound when you get
new messages; however, if you want to make that suggestion, write to:
accessibil...@apple.com
, and give them your suggestion. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.

Apple mail doesn't do that conversations thing like gmail. That's a
sort of trick that gmail have done. All the same, you might find that
apple mail is easier and faster than gmail, particularly with VO,
though I have had reasonable success in gmail web mail by using basic
html view.

Hi Dan,
I've had several people suggest this. I used gmail when I could see,
so I'm pretty used to it. I'm getting inrigued though. Do you know if
the mail program shows the messages the same way web based does? In
the web based, the messages appear in conversations, so they're all
grouped togeth
Hi Randi, why not set up your gmail account in Apple mail? If you're
using a gmail account that is? Gmail works nicely with mail, and it's
a lot easier than having to deal with the webmail. It's your
preference and choice of course, but I'm just saying that in my
opinion it'd be a lot
Ok found your post using that archive thing. I like reading it here
because I can forward messages I want to my inbox. Here, meaning
online Google group. I wonder if there's a way of letting someone know
that once a ghread count increases 25, the rest of the messages aren't
shown on the Google gro
Wow ok this is complicated. In the archive view, can you reply? I'll
go check it out now. My brain is fried from all the itunes stuff haha.

Randi,
On the Google Groups web page try using links chooser menu (Command-U)
and looking for a link called "Newer". VO-Space on that and see
whether that helps.

Hi Randi,
You mean you tried to view the Google Groups web site for this list.
I suggested viewing the Mail Archive site that archives this list's
post instead. Mail Archive has access key support. Google Groups
does not. Mail Archive is easier to search -- I can search for list

Well, that didn't work. I view the board in Safari. Not in an email
program. Control N didn't do anything. I accidentally did command N
the first time, and that was good because its a shortcut for opening
another browser haha.
But, I still can't access the next page of posts in the Help with

Hi Randi,
If you're using Safari to move to the next page in the archive it's
Control-N. They use the Control key as the access key. I know that
we talked about Command-N to make a new playlist in iTunes -- don't
get confused with the keys: Control-n to read next post in thread and

Ok I'm going to try command N. I read it online so my inbox doesn't
get flooded. I wonder why google groups doesn't havea a next link.
Geez.
Thanks Esther, you have some really great info. I'm so glad you wrote
quickly. Smilie.

Hi Randi,
I think you said you read the mail on line, so the answer depends on
what you use to read your mail. But this solution should work for
you. Go to the Mail Archive web site posts:
