Hi Erik, all MacBook Airs have dual core processors. You cannot get a MacBook
Air with a quad core processor.

YES, IOS DEVICES CAN DO A LOT, but EVEN WITH A BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD ATTACHED,
THERE AREN'T A LOT of APPS THAT TAKE ADVANTAGE of the keyboard. One good app
that does, though, is MudRammer. But besides that, only the built in apps take

Dropping the quad-core mini, making the newest models slower than the
old ones, was a misstep by Apple. I can only assume this was to prevent
cannibalization of their other lines by a fast, cheaper, lower-margin

And one thing to add, if you’re a braille user the IOS devices are better with
braille than the Mac unfortunately.
Other wise great points.
I’m upset that there are no user serviceable parts inside any more. I upgraded

At the risk of being completely useless, more is always better where specs are
concerned. Apple give you a great experience with Mac, but alas, they charge
overly for upgrades, and you only get to make those purchases one time, when
you buy your machine. This is, of course, no coincidence. Be

Anders,
I think the 1.6 ghz processer is a quadcore which makes it more expensive and
also as it's a laptop processer with four cores, it will have more l2 cash and
be engineered to run a little cooler than the desktop processer in the mini.
The 2.7 ghz processer in the mini is a duel core fro
8GB of ram is more than enough, I imagine, especially on a device with a
solid-state drive. A Mini is a fine machine, but remember that it's not
portable and won't include a screen, keyboard, trackpad, or microphone.
