Hi,
Go to apple/about this computer and all shall be revealed, methinks.
In the window that pops up when you hit ”about this computer” from the apple
menu there’s among other things a button that says ”system report”. Press this
button and in the dialog that comes up you will find a lot of info a
Hi!
Ok. i try until it works.
I saw that there was a continuity activation tool out there.
I downloaded it and tried it but no luck so far.
Something is weird here.
Ok, its not the biggest issue but i just want to send a zipped daisybook to my
ipad and open it with voice dream.
Ofcourse i can do t
Could this type of transfer also be done with the new iCloud functionality?
Perhaps we could get VoiceStream developers to create a Macintosh version that
allows continuity transactions to transition reading from Macintosh to IOS. I
have read a bit about the process continuity uses to transitio
Okay, have Airdrop on the iPad enabled, and set to "everyone" just in case. Now
find the zip file on the Mac, vo-shift-m, open the Share menu, and choose
Airdrop.
As to supported Macs, Google has tons of lists that will tell you if your
device can handle Airdrop.

Hi, Airdrop doesn’t work properly on my mid 2011 IMac either. I have Do not
disturb off or rather i have it in scheduled mode so it starts at 9.30 PM CST
and goes until 9.00 AM CST but even when do not disturb is off, nothing happens
and i can’t even tell my mac to communicate with all or only w
This isn't a replacement for iTunes, at least not completely. I don't know what
might happen if you send audio to an iOS device, but I'm not sure that it will
be added to your music library. Worth trying, of course, but I wouldn't count
on replacing iTunes with Air Drop. As to the supported Macs
Hi!
Strange.
>From what i read on the apple page it should support macs from 2010.
BUt if you’r right then i have to go for a new mac i think.
I would be happy to be able to just send files directly to my iphone without
using any cables and itunes.

Remember that you must have an Airdrop window open on the Mac or the iPad won't
see it. Plus, there are a few 2011 Macs that lack the necessary bluetooth
hardware, but I don't recall which ones they are.

Hi Andrew,
did you switch off "Do not disturbe? on the iPad. Sorry, I don't know the
correct term on an english machine but it should be quite similar. I
accedentally noticed that my Mac doesn't find my iPhone if this mode is
switched on.
All the best
