I'm buying the headset next week and will try with my I Mac. I will then report
back.

HI Ricardo,
Have you actually used bluetooth headsets with VoiceOver like this successfully
or are you just talking in theory at the moment?
If this worked, it would be some improvement at least, but not a complete
solution. One of the reasons I want a bluetooth headset is so I can hear
VoiceO
Hello,
For those using BT headsets on their Macs, something that might help in this
situation is to go into Voiceover utility, under sound, and make sure Voiceover
output is set to default output. Sometimes, I've seen this setting set to the
bluetooth device for some reason. In theory at leas
Hi all,
Phil, have you actually tried them with the Mac? Can you turn them off and then
on again without losing VoiceOver?
I've asked this question elsewhere on this list but never seem to get an
answer. All my bluetooth headsets which work fine with VoiceOver on iOS have
problems on the Mac.

I do not live in the states but am interested if you've not used them. Perhaps
we can discuss off list.

Can you tell me, then, if there is a delay? I'm thinking about getting these,
as I do a lot of walking with my phone as a gps and would love wireless,
non-blocking headphones. I've heard that bluetooth has a delay, though, and am
wondering just how bad it is? Is it noticeable? Obvious but still
Yes, I use them. Actually I don't use them much, but I bought them and they
work quite well. I just don't have a need for bluetooth headsets anymore and
so they're sitting unused on my shelf.
You wear them with the band behind the head and they come over the ears and
rest on the bone in front
