By default when you connect to filesharing on another Mac you get a
virtual drive which has access to all the folders in your home
directory. In other words, the default is when I connect to another Mac
I get access to everything /Users/cblouch on that machine. So unless you
need access to some

the Sharing pane of System Prefs, check the box for File Sharing in the
Services Table. Likely, your Mini is broadcasting
