Did it come from you or from MacVisionaries? As a subscriber its normal
to receive all emails that go to the list, including your own.

You might have your Mail setting to always CC or BCC yourself in the compose
tab in preferences. I set up a filter on the gmail site to cause messages sent
by me to a list to go to the inbox. I’ll look up the Gmail filter if anyone’s
