Hi,
As Jonathan mentioned, if you created and edited this document using TextEdit,
then previous edits are saved within TextEdit itself. You can look back
through those archived versions to find the version you're looking for. If
that doesn't work, the easiest thing to do would be to locate t
You might not even need to use time machine if the file is still present in
your system. Was the file edited using textedit? If so, then there should be a
mini-time machine interface in the editing window.
If not, then instructions for using time machine have been given before on
list. I person
I don't think I'll have to worry quite yet, because I have a 1 terrabyte hard
drive, thanks for warning me though.

volume is all used up and then start pruning the oldest backups. So you
might discover in short order that all the space you were going to use
for music has gone away.

Hi,
I have another question that relates somewhat to time machine. Can I use the
hard drive that I back up on to store other music, sa I want to create another
Itunes library on it, can this be done? Sorry for the slight off-topicness.
Thanks,
Courtney

Anne, that is what I said, but Apple menu, yes should probably said that
instead of application menu. Command-f2 will take you to the Apple menu, but
this also accesses the app menu, does that make sense? :)

Hello Scott,

And you can also use command-f8 to reach the status bar. This status bar is
actually the one that shows the clock, Time Machine status, and so forth.
Command-f2 will take you to the application menu bar
and this again is an OS command and finally command-f3 will take you to the
Dock.

first one. Press VO + m again to get to the next status bar. On this
status bar is where you will find the time machine drop down menu.

Thanks

Why yes you can. In the time machine preferences turn back up off.

time machine menu on the status bar you will find a item called back
up now. A click of this item will do a back up.
