Yes you can override them in the keyboard shortcuts. At least I have
intentially overridden cmd-W to do another function.

Not that one Ricardo! lol!
I was looking for it in the keyboard shortcuts as you suggested!
It looks like [with my limited knowledge] you cannot change the hard wired
commands like command+shift+d!

Hi Collin,

composing an e-mail for this option to appear though.

let me set a new one up!
I couldn't find the command+shift+d!
Do you know in which menu it is?

There is a text recognition command to send the current e-mail. I believe I
could set up the equivalent for you in an AppleScript if you want.

Hi,
why not just change the keystroke then? go to system preferences/keyboards
then select the keyboard shortcuts tab.

Hi.
So it looks like I would have to construct a macro to press the send key and
then assign a gesture to the macro? I find the shift-command-d very awkward at
best.

Hi Bill!
Unless a applescript can be made to do the send function [and I've no idea if
automation flow can do it either] but if a script can then you can add that to
a trackpad commander stroke!

other hand take two fingers and twist them on the trackpad to the left. It
should make a beep oise and say Track Commander Off. You can turn it on when
you want it the same way by twisting your two fingers to

Go to Vo Utilities mender, down the table to Commanders, over to the Track Pad
tab, click it. Then check or uncheck the box to turn it off from there.

Hi,
Are you touching the trackpad on accident while holding down the VO keys?
Even if you are though, you have to rotate 2 fingers clockwise to enable
trackpad commander, so I don't see how it's turning itself on.
