I totally agree with you. The Mac just doesn't quite cut it where serious
productivity is concerned. Though in my case I'm quite happy to run two

As for me, well, I use OS X most of the time now, but the deteriorating of
functionality is making me think unkind thoughts about switching full time back
to Windows, at least on my workhorse desktop. OS X 10.10 looks very promising,

Lol I know. I think they're good operating systems just in different
ways. I'm still an Apple boy though as will eventually switch full time
and use Windows in other ways and only when I need it.

If you can give up space on your Mac partition, then yes, you can shrink your
existing Mac partition and make room for your new partition if you want to do
that. You should be careful not to touch your Windows partition.

since i only do have 120 gb for my windows, i have 130gb free space on my mac
os, can i still partition that? because on the disk utility, but it said on my

It's a bit late for that, I'm afraid. To get that arrangement, you'll have to
forgo BootCamp Assistant (you don't actually need it, you know, it's just a
convenience) and reinstall Windows, because your NTFS partition can't be
(easily) resized. If you don't want to touch Windows now it's insta
