Awesome! I'm going to love that feature when I get my snow leppard.
I have to use either speech or braille. Both at the same time
distracts me no end, even though I can multi-task just fine normally.

Are you using the track pad? If yes, perhaps you need to perform a threE
finger double tap, just like on your iPhone.

If you have a laptop, try holding down the FN key. I think F10 mutes speech now.
