Hi, I sit here partially corrected. I did confuse the ability to use modifiers other than the Option key. That is, I did mention that you could use the ctrl key which as you’ve mentioned is not available in the Keyboard Commander whereas it is available within the Keyboard pane of System Pref

Hi, Sorry, this is completely wrong. There is *no* conflict in using keyboard commander at all. Keyboard Commander will only take over one of your option keys, and only for the keystrokes you add. This means your other option key is still avaliable for all combinations you might want, and even

Hi, As mentioned earlier, the “Choose iTunes Library” dialog comes up because your Option key is down when iTunes is starting. This is normal behaviour in both iTunes and iPhoto and possibly others that I’m not aware of. I suggest that you not use Keyboard Shortcuts with the Option key like t

Hi Mark I created my key combo the same as you, so why it works for you I don't know. It would appear from the replies, thank you for those, that I am not alone in getting this response. I will give in and just use the dock, easy enough to do and I can use my energies to set up other things. Re

Because if you press the option key while iTunes loads you are given the opportunity to choose a library or create a new one. I don't know any workarounds. Yes you could change the keyboard commander key but this would affect all keyboard commander keys. Just use the item in the dock in this si
